The Ontario Branch has more than 80 clubs, mostly private golf, yacht, athletic and city clubs located in central and southern Ontario between Brantford on the West and Belleville on the East. At over 275 members, it is the largest Branch in CMAC and offers tremendous value for members through professional development, excellent opportunities for networking, promotion of club management as a career, and support through scholarships and donations.
Professional Development opportunities (see schedule below) include education sessions in conjunction with Branch meetings, workshops, roundtables, and the Supervisor Series. A variety of social events such as the fall Social Networking Event, annual golf tournament, annual Presidents Managers Dinner in November and Annual General Meeting all contribute to a strong network of club managers in Ontario for sharing information, ideas and strategies for dealing with the ongoing issues and challenges faced daily.
The Branch is an active participant within the National Allied Golf Associations (NAGA) Ontario, an alliance of the golf related associations dedicated to growing the game of golf and raising the awareness of the contribution the golf industry makes to the Canadian economy, the environment, and health and fitness.
The Ontario Branch is led by a dedicated and diverse Board consisting of not only General Managers but a mix of other senior managers from a variety of types of clubs. Contact may be made through the following:
