Club Management Professional Achieves
Internationally Recognized Certified Chief Executive (CCE) Designation
TORONTO, Ontario (October 10, 2018) – The Canadian Society of Club Managers (CSCM) is delighted to announce that Kimberley Iwamoto, CCM, CCE, General Manager of The Ranchmen’s Club in Calgary, Alberta has attained the designation of Certified Chief Executive (CCE) and joins the 19 other CCEs in Canada. The CCE designation indicates that a club management professional has completed a rigorous course of study and training and shows a dedication to proficiency and expertise in club management.
The CCM designation is the hallmark of professionalism in club management established by the Club Management Association of America in 1965. The CCE designation was created in 2007. CSCM launched the Certification Program in Canada in 2004. The CCE designation is a valuable, internationally recognized, and widely respected mark of a manager’s commitment to professional development and the club industry. In order to receive the designation, one must invest time in specified education requirements, have previously achieved the Certified Club Manager (CCM) designation, provide mentorship to new CSCM members for a one-year period, and maintain activity within their local Branch. Attainment of the CCE title shows a long-term commitment to professional development and club management.
CSCM extends its sincere congratulations to Ms. Iwamoto who will be recognized at the 2018 CSCM National Conference being held October 13-17, 2018 in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Established in 1957, CSCM is the national professional society representing the club management profession in Canada. Of our approximately 600 members, over 70% are from golf clubs, and the remainder from a variety of city, recreation, fitness, curling and other types of clubs.
The Society’s members hold position titles that include General Manager, Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer as well as Assistant Manager, Clubhouse Manager, Controller and Food and Beverage Manager.
