Membership

In December 2021, the Canadian Society of Club Managers (CSCM) changed its name to the Club Management Association of Canada (CMAC) and we will be adopting a new logo as part of this change in February 2022. CMAC represents a diverse collective of club industry professionals who share a common interest in the industry. Our objective is to represent each one of our members, regardless of their role, tenure, or background in the club management industry. There are three categories of CMAC membership: Professional, Community, and Honourary. In addition, special pricing dues may be available. Our members value the networking and educational opportunities provided by the association, as well as keeping up-to-date with the latest industry trends via our magazine and seminars & conferences.

The majority of CMAC members are the General Managers/Chief Executive Officers/Chief Operating Officers and senior staff of a variety of clubs, though our membership includes an increasing amount of Assistant Managers, Controllers, Food and Beverage Managers, hospitality educators and students, among others who are interested in and pursuing a career in club management.

Of our approximately 570 members, approximately 60% are from golf clubs and/or country clubs, 10% from city clubs, 7% from recreation and leisure clubs, and the remainder from a variety of sports, fitness, curling and other types of clubs. The majority of these clubs are private or semi-private and represent over 240 clubs across Canada.
