Participation in Club Management Institute (CMI) accredited courses is one of the requirements for earning the Certified Club Manager (CCM) designation. The CMI is the education arm of the Club Managers Association of America (CMAA) which is responsible overall for the Certification Program adopted by the CSCM.
CMI Courses must be accredited by the CSCM Professional Development Committee and are worth 6 National Education credits. Each course must include an examination and participants must achieve 70% in order to receive the education credits for the course.
A CMI course is typically held prior to each national conference and national Food and Beverage Conference, and typically prior to the Regional Seminars. A CSCM Branch may also choose to hold a CMI course.
