Central to The Canadian Society of Club Managers mission "to promote and develop the profession of club management" is our committment to provide members the opportunity to grow within the Club Management profession, and advance their own professional credentials through a variety of key programs and services. Access to services including the Certified Club Manager (CCM) education program, the National Conference, and Regional Seminars, comprise some of the core member benefits of joining the Society.
The Canadian Society of Club Managers has established a certification prorgam that is intended to be the hallmark of professionalism in club management. The Certified Club Manager (CCM) designation will confirm the manager's competency in critical performance areas and ongoing commitment to professional development. The eligibility criteria are the same as those of the CMAA's CCM designation. Members who complete the CCM designation may convert to the CCM designation should they join the CMAA. Our annual National Conference brings together leading experts in Club Management. Our speakers, panels, workshops and roundtables all bring into focus the key issues of managing clubs…meet with the experts, talk to your peers. The Conferences also offer exciting networking opportunities, companion programs and the chance to visit some of North America's best destinations!
Annually, Regional Seminars are held in both western and eastern Canada. Concise education and training for club managers, these seminars are designed to provide members with easier access to our educational programming.
