The rooming block at the host hotel, the InterContinental Toronto Centre, is now sold out. There are other hotels in the downtown core in walking distance of the venue. These range from well-known hotels such as the Fairmont Royal York and Delta Toronto to mid-range hotels like the Doubletree by Hilton to boutique hotels such as The Loft.
There are now 3 city-wide events taking place at the same time as our conference, which means room rates have escalated. We are working to secure an overflow room block, but are facing the hurdles of attrition and these city-wide events. We will update if we secure any rooms.
Do note that the hotel is next to Union Station. If cost is a concern, you can consider a hotel further away. Uptown is a subway ride away, and airport hotels can easily be accessed by the quick and convenient UP Express which is a 25-minute ride.
The InterContinental Toronto Centre is conveniently located downtown and easily accessible whether you are flying, taking a train, or driving into the city.
Located a short walk away from Toronto’s Union Station, attendees coming in by VIA Rail train services can make their way to the hotel on foot, heading east along Front Street (approximately 10 minutes) or take a quick cab/ride service (approximately 5 minutes).
For those flying into Pearson International Airport (YYZ), attendees can take advantage of the convenient UP Express train that gets you from the airport to downtown (Union Station) in 25 minutes, with frequent service throughout the day.
For attendees flying into Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport (YTZ), a complimentary shuttle bus is available from the airport to Toronto’s Union Station.
Alternatively, attendees can make their way to the hotel from either airport via cab/ride service.
