Did you know that CMAC’s annual auction is coming up? To ensure we maximize our fundraising efforts, the auction will be held online from October 17 to November 15 as well as live at the President’s Dinner on November 8. Last year we auctioned 31 items and raised an amazing total of $30,040 thanks to the generosity of those who donated items and our bidders. This year we hope to do even better!  

Contributions generated from the auction are put towards the Professional Manager Development (PMD) Fund. A critical part of supporting the continued education and development of CMAC members who are pursuing their Certified Club Manager (CCM) designation, the fund provides bursaries for members attending Business Management Institute (BMI) and Club Management Institute (CMI) courses, the fee payments for those challenging the CCM exam, and is instrumental in the ongoing development of the BMI courses hosted in Canada.

Would you consider donating an item to our auction? Perhaps you have a “hidden” talent and can contribute a knitted scarf, a curated meal box or offer a bike tour of your city! More examples of the fantastic items that have been donated in previous years can be seen below.

 

Please complete the online Auction Donation Commitment Form for each item that you wish to donate. CMAC will notify you when the auction launches online. Donated items will be added weekly to the online bidding platform until October 28.
