Two Club Management Professionals Achieve
Internationally Recognized Certified Club Manager Designation

TORONTO, Ontario (December 6, 2018) –  The Canadian Society of Club Managers (CSCM) is delighted to announce two Canadian club management professionals who have recently attained the designation of Certified Club Manager (CCM) and join the 70 other CCMs in Canada. The CCM designation indicates that a club management professional has completed a rigorous course of study and training and shows a dedication to proficiency and expertise in club management.

The CCM designation is the hallmark of professionalism in club management established by the Club Management Association of America in 1965. The CSCM launched the Certification Program in Canada in 2004.  The designation is a valuable, internationally recognized, and widely-respected mark of a manager’s commitment to professional development and the club industry. In order to receive the CCM designation, one must invest time in specified education requirements, attend at least one CSCM National Conference, be a member of the CSCM for a minimum of six years and maintain activity within their local Branch. After these conditions have been met, the individual must pass the CCM Exam. Attainment of the CCM title shows a long-term commitment to professional development and club management.

The following club managers successfully met all CCM requirements in November 2018:

Jan Bloemraad, General Manager
The Glencoe Club – Calgary, AB

Paul Chambers, Clubhouse Manager
The Toronto Golf Club - Mississauga, ON

The CSCM extends its sincere congratulations to these newly certified professionals. Please explore the CSCM website for more details on certification and the certification process

Newly certified professionals will be recognized at the 2019 CSCM National Conference being held October 5-9, 2019 in London, ON.
