The Canadian Society of Club Managers Reveals New Magazine Design

TORONTO, Ontario (December 11, 2019) – The Canadian Society of Club Managers (CSCM) is delighted to announce that its industry-leading publication, Club Manager Quarterly (CMQ), will have a new refreshed look and feel, starting with the CMQ Winter 2020 issue. This design change comes at the same time that CSCM signed a new partnership agreement with Lester Communications Inc., a leading communications firm that will publish, print, and distribute the magazine. This partnership will begin with the CMQ Winter 2020 issue.

Suzanne Godbehere, Chief Executive Officer of CSCM, says, “CSCM is built on two main principles – education and networking. CMQ plays a critical role in ensuring we reinforce the core competencies of the Certified Club Manager (CCM) designation, the hallmark of professionalism in club management. We are confident that our partnership with Lester will result in a high-quality publication that will strengthen our Society as we strive to develop, promote and support excellence in club management.”

Paul Morrell, CCM, Chair of CSCM’s Editorial Advisory Committee remarked, “The advisory committee will continue to lead the editorial efforts for CMQ in conjunction with the CSCM National Office. We are excited to be part of this change to ensure we remain relevant to the membership. CMQ will continue to be a great read and even more so with these changes.”

Jill Harris, Publisher at Lester, echoed these sentiments. “Everyone at Lester is thrilled about our new partnership with CSCM. We’re excited to put our skills into practice for the Society and add even more value to the CMQ’s readers and advertisers.”

The Winter 2020 media kit featuring the new design can be found here.
