A Code of Ethics articulates principles, values and standards of professional conduct to guide the behaviour of the members of a professional society.
CSCM members are expected to comply with the Society's By-laws and the Code of Ethics. The original code was established in 1997 and revised in 2005.
In accordance with the Society's By-laws, the CSCM Board of Directors has the authority to suspend or expel any Member for reasons outlined in the By-laws, which include a violation of the Code of Ethics. The following Complaint and Discipline Process was established by the Board.
