Two Club Management Professionals Achieve
Internationally Recognized Certified Club Manager Designation

TORONTO, Ontario (January 27, 2022) – The Canadian Society of Club Managers (CSCM) is delighted to announce that two Canadian club management professionals have recently attained their designation of Certified Club Manager (CCM) and join the 80 other CCMs and one MCM in Canada. The CCM designation indicates that a club management professional has completed a rigorous course of study and training and shows a dedication to proficiency and expertise in club management.

The CCM designation is the hallmark of professionalism in club management established by the Club Management Association of America in 1965. The CSCM launched the Certification Program in Canada in 2004. The designation is a valuable, internationally recognized, and widely respected mark of a manager’s commitment to professional development and the club industry. In order to receive the CCM designation, one must invest time in specified education requirements, attend at least one CSCM National Conference, be a member of the CSCM for a minimum of six years and maintain activity within their local branch. After these conditions have been met, the individual must pass the CCM Exam. Attainment of the CCM title shows a long-term commitment to professional development and club management.

The CSCM extends its sincere congratulations to the following individuals for successfully achieving all CCM requirements in January 2022:

Laura Manganaro, CCM
Club Manager
Queen City Yacht Club – Toronto, Ontario

Christine Stevens, CCM
General Manager / Chief Operating Officer
Dundas Valley Golf & Curling Club – Dundas, Ontario

Please visit the CSCM website for more details on certification and the certification process.

Newly certified professionals will be recognized at the 2022 CSCM National Conference being held November 5 - 9 in Vancouver, BC.
